The Jersey City Black Heritage Trail is a permanent, citywide cultural asset connecting historic Black neighborhoods, institutions, homes, churches, music venues, and sites of resistance—from enslavement and the Underground Railroad to civil rights, arts, film, and music innovation.
The trail is walkable, digital, and interpretive, supported by QR-enabled storytelling, and activated through tours.
